Job Responsibilities

As the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in growing Edmund Optics’ customer base and increasing regional sales. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Identify new business opportunities across Central Europe.
• Build long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable optical solutions.
• Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Work closely with engineering, marketing, and technical support teams.
• Negotiate commercial contracts and pricing agreements.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis.
• Represent Edmund Optics at industry exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Required Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants should have:

• A degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least three years of experience in technical sales, business development, or key account management.
• Knowledge of optical components, phonics technology, or industrial manufacturing solutions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory when required.
